Pastor Harvey M. Walker
We praise God for the gift that He has given to the Crossing through your membership. We are excited about the things that God is going to do because you are a part of our family. We also anticipate great things for you individually as you grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to make yourself at home in the Spirit and join in the vision and work that God has assigned to us as a Body. By His power and grace He has given divine increase and established us as a church for the community. He has made us known as a place where He dwells and can be heard and personally experienced. To Him alone be all the glory. We have the joy and great expectation of knowing that He who began a good work in us will complete it.
We praise Him for what He has done knowing that He is not through with us. His plan for us is moving into another phase. He is taking us where we have never been before to bless and use us as never before. When God begins to do a new thing a response is mandated. In order to go where we have never been before, to be blessed and used as never before, we must trust God and follow Him at a level that surpasses the faith and follow-ship of the past. God has given me a vision for a time such as this for His church. It is a vision of a church where the Word of God is lived and the God of the Word is manifested. It is the vision of a church that is winning the world for Christ and is a refuge where the world can connect personally with Him. It is the vision of a body of baptized, Spirit-filled, and love motivated believers living by faith and being used by God to be the bridge to life to all who have grown hopeless in the world.
Through us, the Crossing Community Church, people from all walks of life, ethnicities, and ages will enter into relationship with Christ and experience the abundant life. You are going to be blessed and a blessing. I pray that you will press into God, joyfully enter into this time of “new things”, and confidently go with me as I follow Him to where we have never been before to be blessed and used as we have never been before.
In His Service,
Rev. Harvey M. Walker, Senior Pastor
